Youth league is under way

THE North Wilts Junior Cricket League gets under way this Sunday, with a number of new teams.

Shrivenham have joined the league with a team in the under 11 division, while Swindon, who fielded an under 13 team last season, have now also entered under 11 and under 15 sides.

The under 11 and under 15 divisions start up this Sunday, with Swindon making their debut in the latter at home to Wootton Bassett.

Saturday fixtures: Under 11: Calne v Malmesbury; Biddestone v Chippenham; Corsham v Westbury; Cannings v Shrivenham; Swindon v Wootton Bassett. Under 15: Calne v Purton; Westbury v Biddestone; Cannings v Malmesbury; Chippenham v Wootton Bassett.
