King Sturge appointed to promote innovation centre

REAL estate consultancy firm King Sturge has announced it has have been appointed by the University of Bath in Swindon to help promote the Swindon Innovation Centre.

The centre, which is located at the Oakfield Campus, is aimed at developing, inspiring and support-ing innovative high-growth busi-ness.

Centre director Ron Humpreys said: "The centre provides an ideal environment in which to nurture and grow a business without the usual property restraints.

"We have now sought the assistance of King Sturge who will work with us in the promotion of this facility."

Jeremy Sutton, Partner at King Sturge said: "Start-ups and new businesses often find it difficult to acquire property on flexible terms and certainly with traditional leases there is no business support."

"The Innovation Centre is an ideal opportunity for these companies to concentrate on their business growth and development, rather than concerning themselves with property issues."
