Anyone for croquet?

IF YOU have always fancied trying out croquet, the chance to experience the sport is now open to the people of Swindon.

On Friday, the Swindon Croquet Club is holding an open day at Moredon playing fields in Cheney Manor.

Members of the public are invited to go along and club coaches will show them the basics of the game.

All age groups are welcome and equipment is provided, although you are advised to wear flat soled shoes.

Parking and instruction are free but the club requests that a donation is given to charity.
