Dig in to clean up

NATURE lovers are needed to spruce up the Seven Fields reserve in Penhill.

A clear up is being held on Sunday to remove litter from the area, which is home to an abundance of wildlife.

Marilyn Beale, one of the volunteers who helps manage the 100-acre site, said: "Recently, we have been disappointed at the turnout for our clear ups.

"I would especially encourage new people who have just moved into the area to come along.

"We need their help to remove old tyres, cans and bottles."

Interested people should meet at King Bridge, which is in the centre of the Swindon reserve, at 10am.

Gloves and bags will be provided for volunteers.
