Swindon Minis travelled to Hayle in Cornwall and the under nines maintained their outstanding record.

After playing four tough games, Swindon, Burnham on Sea and Bank of England shared equal first leaving Redruth and Gosport & Fareham to fight it out for the plate.

Jack Kimber and Declan Thomas scored as Swindon defeated Bank of England two tries to one and Thomas and Jack Coles crossed over as Swindon drew 2-2 with Burnham in the second game.

That result proved enough for the Wiltshire youngsters to collect the Hayle Tour Cup.
