Liden Community kept the pressure on Shaw A at the top of the Under 16 table with a hard-fought 3-1 win at Cirencester Juniors in midweek.
The goals came from Matt Boakes, Matt Lofts and Oliver Sly and Liden are now three points clear having played two more games.
The two teams are still scheduled to meet each other in the league before the end of the season as well as going head to head in next week's cup final. Shaw B consolidated third place with a 1-0 win at Stratton Juniors.
The solitary goal of the match came just before half-time with a fierce strike into the roof of Stratton's net from Scott Scanlon. There was not much between the two sides in the second half and there were no further goals.
The sides had also met in midweek in a Subsidiary Cup group match, Shaw running out 5-0 winners with goals from Martin Garstang (3) and Adam Legg (2).
UNDER 14
Ferndale Rodbourne had a busy week with three matches.
In a Division 1 league game, they were involved in a nine-goal thriller with Croft Juniors, the visitors eventually edging it by the odd goal.
Star of the show for Croft was Lee Robbins, who scored four times, with Josh Goldsworthy netting the other.
Ferndale's scorers were Steve Green (2), Lewis Jones and Kierren Robins-Kidby.
Two days later, Ferndale moved out of the bottom two with a 3-0 home win over Wroughton, Adam Drury scoring twice and Jason Hodson the other.
On Sunday, though, Ferndale found Westbrook too hot to handle, going down 5-0 at home. Westbrook's scorers were Matt Hobbs (2), Matt Godsell, Shaun Harris and Sean Bailey.
In midweek, Stratton Juniors secured top spot in Group B with a 6-2 win at Wroughton.
Scorers for Stratton were Daniel Sear (2), Daniel Tooze (2), Dave Glover and Michael Bellinger, with Alex Veale and Adam Burson scoring Wroughton's consolation goals.
In the Second Division Group of the Subsidiary Cup, Walcot secured top spot and a place in the quarter-finals with a comfortable 7-0 win over Juventus Juniors.
Zig Wardle led the way with five goals and there were further strikes from James Stares and Nick Mitchell.
Stratton Youth also put themselves in a good position to secure a quarter-final place with an excellent 6-1 win at Shaw. James Baker scored for the home side, while Stratton's goals came from Anthony Cacchioli (2), Leigh Schvartz (2), Simon Kirk and Alec Dolman.
UNDER 12 DIVISION 1
Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas moved up into fourth spot in the table after a 2-0 win at Fairford.
The goal scorers for the Pumas were the prolific duo of Jordan McGovern and Nathan Gambling.
UNDER 10 WEST DIVISION
Champions Ferndale Rodbourne extended their lead at the top to 10 points after a comfortable 4-1 home win in midweek over Wootton Bassett Town.
Two goals for Aaron Turner in this one, plus further goals from Alex Henshall and Paul Johnson saw them to the points.
Ryan Allen scored the consolation goal for Bassett.
UNDER 10 CENTRAL
Stratton Juniors ensured outright runners-up spot thanks to a narrow 2-1 home win over Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers.
Scorers for Stratton were Nathan Lee and Alex Rowe.
UNDER NINE CENTRAL
Ferndale Rodbourne, having played just 11 league games in six months, have to play nine in the final month of the season.
The first of these games saw them move fourth thanks to a6-1 win at Liden, Benjamin Barker scoring the Liden consolation goal.
