SWINDON Borough Council has put out a call for young people to take the trip of a lifetime to Italy with the European Voluntary Service.
The scheme is open to men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 and offers he chance to do volunteer work in social, environmental and cultural projects.
Senior economic development officer Daryl Jones said: "The main aim of EVS is to help young people become more integrated into society, to develop a service that will benefit the community in humanitarian, social and cultural ways and to link and strengthen organisations working for the public good throughout Europe."
There are no costs involved because hosts in the country involved pay for flights, food and accommodation. Trips last between six and 12 months. For details call 01793 466415.
