So what do you actually do?

I am responsible for ensuring that my clients' profile is raised in the media, which involves research and drafting press releases, writing articles and setting up briefings and interviews for my clients with journalists. It's not all wining and dining but the bits of it that are, are good fun.

What do you hate most about your job and why?

Being treated unreasonably really makes me angry, there's no need for it.

Do you think your colleagues like you?

Yes, definitely.

What's the best bit of advice you have ever been given?

Always smile when talking on the phone, it makes the person listening much more receptive to what you have to say.

What's the best bit of gossip you have ever heard about yourself?

That my clients find me scary!

What job did you want to do when you were young and why? After my dad took me to the Natural History Museum when I was three I really wanted to be a palaeontologist and that lasted all the way up until I found out I had to do science A-level.

If you could have a dream job, what would it be?

Chief ice cream taster for Ben and Jerry's.

Hobbies:

Gliding.

In job terms who or what has been your greatest influence and why?

My parents have a brilliant work ethic. They're both teachers and they work all week and then weekends as well but still manage to always be around when I need them.
