WOOTTON Bassett School sixth formers have presented £2,350 to charities after a year of events.

The Bubble Club of Reading, which helps children with disabilities, and Cancer Research each received money.

Head of Sixth Form Steve Blakelock said: "Sometimes young people get a bad press, but the real story is they are willing to give time to help those less fortunate."
