Magic moments at new-look Keyline

MANAGERS and staff at a Swindon builders merchants found an unusual way of entertaining their customers after an extensive shop refit.

Keyline Builders Merchants in Shrivenham Road held theme days and brought in entertainers and food to say a big thank-you to their customers following the £250,000 refit, which lasted eight weeks.

Magicians from the Magic Circle and other entertainers and range of foods from across the world all made an appearance.

Sales manager Kevin Edmonds, who has worked at the store for 10 years, said the whole idea was unique.

"The whole idea of the themed days with food was something new and it worked but it took a lot of organisation.

"We completed the refit two weeks ago but we stayed open the whole time.

"We were so pleased that our customers stayed with us that we wanted to thank them for bearing with us."

The Swindon branch of Keyline is one of 90 stores across the country selling a huge variety of building materials including timber, sheet materials, doors and joinery, plumbing and heating and supplying tools for hire.
