Rivals share points in top table clash

Swindon and District League: THE top-of-the-table clash between leaders Zurich and second-placed Windmill in the Premier Division ended in a 1-1 draw.

Dean Parsons put Windmill ahead in the first half, and Dave Amey's wonder strike from 40 yards after the interval levelled the scores.

Westwood beat Queensfield 2-1 with goals from Eddie Gordon and Kevin Hopkins.

In Division One Barron Heating trounced Westlecott 8-3. Barron's scorers were Aaron Wilson (2), Jamie Williams (2), John Cool, Pete Beard, Danny Scotford and Mike Austin.

On target for Westlecott were James Lovell, Scott Thomas and Scott Edenborough.

Regent beat Ramsbury 8-1 in Division Two, with Ross Kent scoring a hat-trick. Other scorers included Tony Sardo, Michael Corcoran and Chris Woloszczynski (2). Warren Hunt netted for Ramsbury.

Queenstown Reserves beat Liden Pumas 4-0.
