Swindon to head east

SWINDON RFC will break new ground this weekend when they head to Romania for an Easter tour.

A 32-strong party jets off to Bucharest on Friday where they will play one match against a team made up of former international players.

Swindon will tackle Rugby Old Boys Grivita, who came to this country around seven years ago and played a team from RAF Lyneham.

The tourists will head east armed with barrels of beer supplied by Coors, while UK Leisurewear have provided them with tour sweatshirts and other sponsors include Cutting Edge (Swindon) and Panacea.
