Bath bitten by injury

Jonathan Humphreys (rib) and Danny Grewcock (back) will miss tomorrow's Zurich Premiership match at the Rec against Sale Sharks (2.15pm).

Former Wales hooker Humphreys picked up the injury in the 23-21 victory over London Irish last weekend and his place will go to Lee Mears who will remarkably only be starting his seventh game for the club despite making 60 appearances for the Zurich Premiership leaders.

Club captain Danny Grewcock has failed to overcome a back problem picked up in England's crunch Six Nations clash at the Stade de France, but is expected to be fit to face Montferrand next weekend. His place goes to Rob Fidler, while Steve Borthwick will assume the captaincy.

SOUTH African back Wylie Human, at Bath on a short-term contract, will join Northampton Saints at the end of the season.
