Big guns are back as Bath aim to power past Leeds

BATH have brought back their big guns for this afternoon's Powergen Cup quarter-final at Leeds (2.30pm).

World Cup-winning centre Mike Tindall returns from a serious ankle injury fully three weeks ahead of schedule as Bath travel to Headingley.

England teammates Olly Barkley, Danny Grewcock and Iain Balshaw all come back into the XV while Scotland's Simon Danielli also starts.

Mike Catt, who has been added to the England A training squad for next week's clash against France in Perpignan, retains the No 10 jersey, but Ireland international Kevin Maggs is not included in the squad as he only returned from international duty late yesterday.

Props David Flatman and Duncan Bell have overcome knocks to start, whil Steve Borthwick returns from suspension to resume his second row partnership with captain Grewcock.

Head coach John Connolly said: "While the Zurich Premiership is our major focus there is no doubt that this competition is extremely important to us.

"We see this competition as another opportunity to secure a place in the Heineken Cup next season. We would all love a trip to Twickenham."
