COLIN Bush insists attacking midfielder Alan Griffin will remain a Corsham Town player until the end of the season.
Griffin has been the subject of a seven day approach from Chippenham Town but the Corsham manager is confident Griffin will turn the move down.
He said: "As far as I am concerned Alan will be with us for the match at home to Clyst tomorrow.
"The seven days were up on Thursday night so I am sure Steve White will be talking to him over the next few days.
"But I don't see any reason for him to leave. He will be staying with me for the rest of the season.
"He has not indicated he will be going anywhere and was even talking about wearing Russell Lodge's boots tomorrow so he must be staying."
Chippenham Town manager Steve White watched Griffin in action in Wednesday night's cup defeat to Bristol Manor Farm and was impressed with what he saw.
He said: "He showed me he is a good player and I would like to see him come to our club.
"I will be talking to him over the next few days and it is entirely in his own hands."
Bush is intent on revenge for tomorrow's match at home to Clyst after losing 5-1 at their place in October.
He said: "We owe them after last time and the players won't forget it. It is time for revenge.
"We showed what a good side we are against Bristol Manor Farm on Wednesday night as not many teams could put them on the back foot like we did.
"I think the lads enjoy playing against the top sides and make no mistake Clyst are another top side.
"I told the lads not to be disappointed about going out the cup and to focus on the performance which was tremendous."
