Danny hits cup treble

County Ground hit form to defeat a struggling Ridgeway side 6-0 and book their place in the fourth round of the Chairman's Cup.

Danny Bourne led the way as he fired in a hat-trick, while other goals came from Paul Loveridge and Jerry Ash.

Barron Heating also went through after a comfortable 5-1 victory over a luckless Shrivenham side.

Aaron Wilson, Johnny Cool, Mike Austin, Gary Smith, and Jamie Austin got the goals.

In the league, there was a top-of-the-table clash in the Premier Division between unbeaten leaders Zurich and second-placed Windmill.

It was the latter who triumphed, inflicting a first defeat on Zurich by a 4-1 margin.

Ricky Mazzotta grabbed a brace, Richard Martin netted with a 30-yarder, and John Husband completed the tally as Windmill, with three games in hand, closed the gap.

In Division 1, Southbrook came away with a 9-0 victory over Spectrum, Paul Parsons leading the way with a four-timer.

Lee Johnson, Lewis Polden, Gareth Walton. Dave Heskett and Jamie Packer completed the rout.

In an 11-goal thriller, South Marston edged out Blyscawica 6-5.

Liden Puma clinched an impressive 5-0 win over Ramsbury, with a brace from Terry Moore and other goals from Robbie Harris and David Rhys-Morgan.

Andy Wilson was their man of the match and the scoreline could have been greater had it not been for the Ramsbury keeper.

Green Baize were unable to stop an impressive Regent from running out 6-0 winners, Dave Wolosztynski, Richard Plumb, Michael Cochran, Tony Sardo and Andy Cain sharing the goals

In the other game in the division, Queenstown Reserves defeated Westwood Reserves 3-1.

In Division Three, Walcot Old Boys came up against Bulldog and ran out 3-1 winners with goals from Graham Stovell (2) and Ian O'Mahoney.

Trax, meanwhile, edged out SPM 2-1.

Paul Bullimore and skipper Melvyn McKeown, with a late winner, netted for Trax, while SPM's consolation goal came from Mick Redford a spectacular, opportunist effort from inside his own half.
