Festival plans to offer a holistic look at health

Swindon's first Holistic Health Festival is only a couple of weeks away.

The festival, at the Oasis Leisure Centre, promises to be a weekend of healing, self-development and fun.

Holistic therapies aim to treat the body, mind and soul.

Cherri Ann Matthews, a holistic therapist based in West Swindon, said: "It will offer a fun day out, some great shopping and informative lectures and workshops."

There will be more than 50 stands with exhibitors offering taster sessions in therapies such as reflexology, crystal therapy, massage, remedial therapy and Reiki.

Palmistry, tarot cards readings and aura photography will also be on offer.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7, from 10am to 6pm.
