A REUNION for former pupils of Wootton Bassett School will take place in May.
Students and staff who attended the school between 1964 and 1969 are invited to attend the event, which will take place at the Memorial Hall, Station Road on May 1.
Tea will be available from 2.30pm but the party kicks off at 6.30pm, when the bar opens. A buffet and a disco has also been organised.
It is the second time former pupils have organised a reunion. Last year more than 200 people attended, coming from as far as America, Holland and Germany.
Design consultant Steve Richardson, 50, is one of the organisers. He said: "It was a great success last year so we thought we would do it again.
L to R: James Pritchard, Gill Corry (nee Ponting), Kevin Peachy, Lorraine Kay (nee Stewart), David Sheppard, Steve Richardson, David Shilton and Carol Woolway (nee Curr)."We had funds left over so we donated a bench to the school.
"We know the interest is there, it is just about knocking on doors and selling tickets now."
Tickets, costing £10, are available from David Sheppard, on (01793) 852876 or email srichardson@oats.co.uk. People wanting tickets sent by post should call Mr Richardson on (01793) 538187.
