Couple roll up to the church on time in a two-tonne truck

Ref. 29091-13ROMANTIC Adrian Iles made sure his fiance Helen got to the church on time for their wedding by giving her a lift in his two-tonne truck.

In spite of bucking the traditional wedding day trend, the transport was the perfect end to a roller-coaster few years for the couple, which has seen them battle to have a baby. But in the space of a year, Helen, who suffered an ectopic pregnancy where the baby grows in the fallopian tube and two miscarriages, she gave birth to two healthy children.

In August 2002 the couple had Sam and in August last year they celebrated the arrival of Bethany. So for Adrian marriage was the next milestone and he wanted it to be something to remember.

Adrian, who works for Wootton Bassett-based SL Transport said: "I always had it the back of my mind that I'd do something like this on Valentine's Day and I think the truck looks nice in ribbons and bows much better than a Rolls Royce. I'm a bit crazy and like to do something different. This has topped everything off we've been to the bottom and are now right at the very top."

Adrian, 39, and Helen, 29, got married at Cirencester Register Office and rolled up in the Renault Premium for their reception at the Freke Arms in Hannington.

Baby Sam now 18 months-old has been signed up by a baby model agency and is set to star in a string of newspaper and TV adverts later this year.
