Masterclass with artist

A PASTEL artist is to give a masterclass for fellow artists in Highworth. Christine Russell specialises in detailed still life work and expressionist pieces showing landscapes, room interiors and gardens.

Her solo exhibitions have included one at Thornbury Castle in Gloucestershire, one of the country's most prestigious hotels.

She will be giving a demonstration of her technique in Highworth at the invitation of the town's artists' society on March 16, beginning at 2pm.

The venue will be the community room at the town council offices, and entry will cost £2.
