Market has never been stronger

Demand for freehold commercial property in the Swindon area has never been stronger, according to local property consultants King Sturge.

The firm has completed two sales of freeholds, with several more apparently in the pipeline.

The firm has sold Unit 18 on the Whitehill Lane Industrial Estate to carpet care and restoration specialist Rainbow International.

It has also sold Unit 2 on the Marsh Gate Trading Estate on behalf of Core Investments Ltd to Harris Roofing Supplies Ltd.

Alastair Andrews, the business space agent for King Sturge, said: "We are seeing continued demand for all types of freehold commercial property across the region, buoyed up by low interest rates and lack of supply."
