WILTSHIRE LEAGUE: AFC STRATTON'S 6-0 away win over Marlborough Town enabled them to go five points clear of Trowbridge Town at the top of the Premier Division table.
Trowbridge's game against Westbury Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, and Stratton boss Stef Kucynski was delighted with his side's efforts.
He said: "We played some really good stuff at times. It was one of our better performances. We were without striker Rick Casey but Gerry Wright had his shooting boots on and scored a hat-trick."
The Swindon side had the better of the first half and took a three-goal lead at the break through Robbie Broadbanks, Craig Miller and Wright.
Marlborough started the second half well and had their best spell of the match before a strike from Broadbanks and two goals from Wright sealed a comfortable victory.

Chiseldon Castrol, reeling from two recent heavy defeats, looked as though they had solved the problem going in at the break with a clean sheet at Corsham.
However, the home side scored twice after half-time through Darren Andrews and Kevin Powell to send the Swindon side home still looking to get their early season form back.
The top match in Junior Division One was between Westside and leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves and ended in a 1-1 draw, Craig Roberts scoring for Westside.
Second-in-the- table Bromham failed to take advantage of the leaders' dropped points as they were held to a goalless draw by visitors Wanborough United.
The home side just had the edge in the first half and missed a couple of good chances to take the lead.
After the break United came more into the picture but the game remained goalless with both sides finishing with 10 men following the sending off of a player from each side.
