THE teenager injured in last week's attack on an St Joseph's School bus has still not returned back to the classroom.
The 14-year-old girl was taken to the Great Western Hospital with a suspected fractured skull after a brick was thrown through a window.
Although it was later discovered that she had not fractured her skull the girl has had hearing difficulties since the incident around 3.15pm on Tuesday, February 3.
St Joseph's headteacher, Peter Wells, said: "She is still having problems with her hearing, which is a worry, but she is making a recovery from the physical injuries although she has not returned to school."
A 14-year-old boy is lucky to have his sight after shattered glass was removed from his eye.
Swindon CID are continuing to inves-tigate the ambush of the yellow Thamesdown double decker bus, which was ferrying pupils home along Beech Avenue when it was attacked without warning.
Detectives have quizzed pupils in relation to the attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
