NSC on top in nine-goal battle royal

The top two teams met on Sunday with NSC coming out 5-4 winners against Mainlink Couriers.

Mainlink took an early lead only for James Aghabi to level the score with a neat lob on the half hour.

Just before half-time NSC took the lead through James Arthur, who broke clear to score.

Mainlink scored within minutes of the re-start to make it 2-2, but NSC then raced into a 5-2 lead with goals from Kevin Bathe, Aghabi with his second and Neil Lee.

Mainlink hit back with two late goals to make it a tense finish, but NSC held out to claim the three points.
