Website is relaunched

THE Clifton Diocese has re-launched its website to bring Swindon's Catholic community a few clicks away from the latest mass times and clergy details.

The site includes a full parish and deanery directory, providing an easy way to contact churches across the diocese as well as the Bishop.

The Clifton Diocese, to which Catholic churches in Swindon and much of the South West are affiliated, was one of the first in the country to provide such a website.

Since it was set up eight years ago it has accumulated a wide range of features including historical and geographical information about the diocese, which covers Wiltshire, Somerset, Glouces-tershire and Bristol.

The Diocese's communications officer, Tom Bigwood, who oversaw the re-launch, said: "We see what we have done so far very much as the beginning."
