A WORKSHOP highlighting available charitable support for community groups is to be held at the Pilgrim Centre in Regent Circus on Monday, March 1.

Organised by the Charities Information Bureau, it is aimed at health and welfare workers in voluntary and other groups across the Swindon borough.

The workshop will include advice on making funding applications and the use of the bureau's new funding directory and internet database.

Funded by Swindon Council, the workshop will run from 10am until 12.30pm, and booking is recommended.

A booking fee of £15 will be charged, but this will be refunded on attendance.
