Celebrate all things womanly

THE Swindon Women's Coalition will celebrate International Women's Day on Saturday, March 6 at the Broadgreen Centre in Salisbury Street.

Between 11am and 6pm, there will be stalls offering advice and information for women of all ages about a broad range of issues.

The Swindon gathering will be part of a worldwide annual event which celebrates the achievements of women worldwide, and promote the eradication of sexist discrimination wherever it is found.

At the Broadgreen Centre, visitors will be able to sample workshops in subjects such as relaxation and alternative health techniques.

There will also be Bollywood and Mugda dancers and live Caribbean songs.

Creche facilities will be available, and there will be parking for disabled drivers on request at the centre.

Other parking spaces will be available in nearby Carfax Street.
