Wiltshire photos go on show

AN exhibition of photographs revealing the magic of rural life in Wiltshire will visit Melksham and Chippenham over the next two months.

The Life Through A Wiltshire Eye exhibition, with 76 images from Wiltshire County Council's historic photograph and print collection, can be seen at Melksham Library until February 27, and at Chippenham Library from March 2 to 30. Most of the photographs are from the 1960s and 1970s and capture the changing times.

Paul Connell, museums officer at Wiltshire County Council, said: "For me the exhibition is about the county of Wiltshire, its landscape, buildings, places, and the people who make it what it is."

The exhibition also features a photographic quiz to test knowledge of Wiltshire.
