The timetable for opening the Corsham Campus has been released, with the first services due in on July 23.

Renovation work has started on the second phase of the Springfield Leisure Centre project, and the new library, police base and cafe are due to be in next month.

The building should be handed over from building firm MIDAS to Wiltshire Council on June 30, before a fortnight of “build-snagging” to resolve last-minute issues.

The Pickwick Road library and the youth club will move to the campus on July 23, for an opening in August, before the Corsham NPT leaves the police station and relocates to the campus on July 30.

Other services and facilities will move during August.

The first chance for people to see inside the building is planned to be the Corsham Area Board on July 24, but all dates for the project are provisional.
