Police arrested two 17-year-old youths after a suspected armed robbery at Potterne Post Office.
Two armed young men were said to have gone into the post office in High Street just before 5pm yesterday and demanded £20,000.
When the demand was refused they asked for £20, that was handed over and they left.
Police, including armed response officers and the police helicopter, searched the area.
Two 17-year-olds were arrested and are now being held at Melksham Police Station on suspicion of armed robbery.
Two replica handguns were found by police.
